Accessibility Statement

At Go West Tours, we strive to provide enjoyable and memorable sightseeing experiences for all our guests. We are committed to accommodating individuals with accessibility challenges to the best of our abilities. However, due to the design and storage limitations of our 24-seater touring vehicles, we are currently unable to accommodate bulky items such wheelchairs or mobility aids including walking frames.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We realise that accessibility is not limited to physical mobility, but also extends to a range of other issues including sight, hearing & more.

Accessible Stops: We carefully select tour stops that are generally accessible and ensure that any walking involved is manageable for guests with mobility challenges. If you have specific concerns, please contact us, and we will provide detailed information about the tour route and stops.

Boarding Assistance: Our staff are trained to assist guests with mobility issues when boarding and disembarking from our vehicles. While we cannot physically lift any guest, we can assist with stability while guests board the touring vehicle and can provide a mobile step for guests who may not be able to climb the standard stepping distance from the ground to the first step. If you need help, please inform our team in advance, and we will do our best to assist you.

Hearing impaired: Guest who are hearing impaired can access our key tour information in written form using our free app, which can be downloaded using our complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. Our guides also frequently use an onboard whiteboard to convey the departure time from each stop in written form. Should you need to communicate with our guide in written form, you can be assured our guides will do everything they can to assist.

Service Animals: Service animals are welcome on our tours. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a service animal so we can make the necessary arrangements. We note that we are only able to accommodate service animals that are appropriately registered, and we will request evidence of registration. On tour, there may be some locations where service animals access is restricted by the property or land manager.

Limitations

Wheelchair Accessibility: Our touring vehicles do not have storage space for wheelchairs, and therefore, we regret that we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on our tours at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are continuously exploring ways to improve accessibility for all our guests.
